📚 MEANING
Our ancestors have honored and followed the natural cycles, including the lunar cycle. This phase represents completion, fertility, abundance, and transformation. It can also be a time of friction, polarity, and more-intense emotional energy.
🌕 CYCLES
At a full Moon, the Moon is located on the opposite side of the Earth to the Sun so the face of the Moon facing towards the Earth will be completely illuminated by the Sun’s rays. Look for the Moon to rise from the northeastern horizon around sunset that evening.
🌸 ORIGINS
The full Moon names used by The Old Farmer’s Almanac come from a number of places, including Native American, Colonial American, and European sources. Traditionally, each full Moon name was applied to the entire lunar month in which it occurred, not just to the full Moon itself.
